I ship records via United States Postal Service.
For domestic (in US) orders, there is a choice of two different rates:
-Priority. Priority starts at 3.20 for 1.1-2 pounds and goes up by lb. Priority usually takes 2-7 days in continental US.
-Reduced rate (also book rate, music rate, record rate). Book rate starts at 1.15 for 1.1-2 pounds and goes up sequentially from there. Reduced rate usually takes 7-14 days in continental US.
For all US orders I send insured for $50. Orders over $50, it is usually insured for the value. Insurance costs an extra .85 cents for $50. Over $50 it is dependant on value, but starts at $1.85.
For international orders, there are two different rates:
-Small Packet Air. Dependant upon country, usually starts at about 10 dollars for 1 lp. Takes 4-7 days usually.
-Small Packet Surface. Dependant upon country. Takes
4-6 weeks but is less than half the cost of air in some cases.
International orders are usually sent without insurance (there is proof
of sendature with custom forms) but will send with insurance on request.
All orders, add $1 for the price of one record mailer.
