As Much as I like to Hold records for people, I cannot. I will give, say, a really large order of 20+ records for someone in Greenland who lives in an igloo and cannot get the US Dollars super quick more time than say someone in El Segunda, California. That's why for international orders outside of Japan and Canada I will hold the records three weeks. Japan and Canada have International Money Orders so this doesn't warrant that much more time. US orders 2 weeks. This is more than enough time. As somebody once told me "...Funny, but a lot of customers always seem to have the time to order, but never to pay!" I am more than willing to hold records for a few weeks but after that it is simply at the mercy of my memory.
The reason for the limit of holding a record for someone is simple:
If I hold a record for someone for say a month and they never end up sending the money that is the whole order in lost sales for that month. One has to include the time it takes to process the order, pull the records, put them back up on the site once the order has been cancelled etc. I'm not super strict but by myself, it adds up to a lot of extra work (which means less time for the website and out buying records, which in turn means less records for you, the customer).
So to break it down...
International orders (ex. Japan and Canada)-Will hold records for 3 weeks.
US, Japan & Canada-I will hold records for 2 weeks.
If you have a problem with payment obviously I will hold for longer.
